How to find your size ?
Please use a cloth tape to take your measurement. It is better to have a helper do the measuring in order to get a more accurate measurement. The circumference of the head should be measured at a point approximately one inch above the eyebrows, or at whatever point gives the largest possible measurement. If you find that your measurement falls between two sizes, choose the smaller size.
XS - 20 1/4 - 20 7/8" ( or 52-53 cm) S - 21 - 21 5/8" ( or 54-55 cm) M - 21 3/4 - 22 3/8" ( or 56-57 cm) L - 22 1/2 - 23 1/8" ( or 58-59 cm) XL - 23 1/4 - 24" ( or 60-61 cm) XXL - 24 1/8 - 24 7/8" ( 62-63 cm)
Similar helmet sold by many othersSeptember 2, 2010 G. Hunt(WV) This exact helmet is sold by multiple vendors, both here and on ebay- made in china and sold by many others, as so many things are on the internet.
I have one that I purchased a year or so ago. I ordered a 2XL, which is what I wear in a full face helmet, and it is a little too big on me- after trying on some half helmets at walmart of all places, I determined I should have gotten an XL.
At any rate...I think these are good looking helmets, I don't think they look overly large and they are a fairly faithful reproduction of a german helmet unlike some of the others that are being sold.
My number one complaint with this helmet is the garbage chinstrap and D-rings. First off, the chinstrap is too narrow, I would have preferred something that didn't feel like it was cutting into my throat all the time. Second, the D-rings seem to be made for a wider strap. When you cinch down the chin strap, the D-rings end up all cockeyed and make it difficult to loosen the chinstrap when you want to take the helmet off. For the same reason, the D-rings also never stay oriented in the direction they're supposed to be.
I really like the look of the helmet, but I may have to go with a different type when I order the correct XL since nobody seems to have one with a decent chin strap on it.
