Dont think it is worth the moneySeptember 8, 2010 Michael R. Williams(Houston, Texas USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Pros:
-Sturdy Feeling
-Nice case
-Easy to read display
-Led flashlight could be useful
Cons:
-Expensive
-Kinda complicated to use for such a simple use
-Difficult to attach without leaking air
I pulled this out of the box turned it on and used it...No reading came up on the display. Hit some more buttons and tried again...No reading! I then had to read the instructions. It has a good sturdy feel, a nice case, but a little complicated to use to just take a tire pressure reading.
I used this on a couple of different cars once I got it to work. I found it required a bunch of pressure to take a reading without leaking air. And in two cases I had to add more air in tires that would have read properly if I would have gotten a good seal.
This is the most expensive digital tire pressure gauge I have ever owned...And so far it only gets an average rating from me.
Seemingly well designed and well executedAugust 30, 2010 Dave Although this gauge arrived with dead batteries, I'm well pleased with it. The batteries were inexpensive, readily available, and easy to replace. The gauge itself is nicely ergonomic and seems to give reliably repeatable readings. Moreover, it's one of the few gauges I've seen that lets me control tire pressure well within a pound, so the pressures in tires on the same axle are about as close as one could hope to get them. In sum, I'd rate it highly on design and performance. I can't yet attest to its accuracy or reliability, but I'm certainly encouraged by what I've seen so far.
Quick, Accurate and Easy to UseAugust 29, 2010 Srikanth Goli I am pleased with the 2 weeks use of the product. Performs exceptionally well on the basic functionality of displaying the accurate tire pressure, quickly and consistently. I find the whole 'programmable' tag a bit superfluous, as all the programming you can do is to store the target tire pressure and it will indicate whether the current pressure is high or low. But, even discounting the value of this functionality, the unit is still recommended on the merit of its 'non-programmable' feature alone.
excellent gauge...only thing missing is...August 23, 2010 Brad Bortner(Somerville, MA United States) Excellent guage. The only thing missing is a button to release pressure from the tire if it is overinflated.
